About Colleges for Business Norfolk
What is Colleges for Business Norfolk?
Colleges for Business Norfolk (or C4BN for short) is a dynamic and effective service which offers businesses a uniquely responsive and convenient way of accessing training solutions for upskilling staff. It's also your one-stop gateway to a range of other services offered by the top colleges in Norfolk.
Our partner colleges include:
- City College Norwich
- College of West Anglia
- Easton College
- Great Yarmouth College
- Paston College
You can find out more about any of the partner colleges by clicking the "C4BN Partners" button on the right.
How does it work?
Very simply! Are you a business owner or manager looking for a particular training package? Or perhaps you want advice on the best and most cost-effective way of upskilling staff? Contact us and we'll listen to your requirements, work with you to find the most appropriate solution and link you with one or more of the college members. At any stage your C4BN contact will be on hand to help and advise.
Will it save me money?
It may well do! Colleges receive funding from the government and are very well placed to win contracts that allow big savings to be passed on to their customers. Train to Gain is a good example of this.
Does it matter how big or small my business is?
No - if you are a small business then you know how important it is to use your time, energy and money effectively. We're easy to get hold of and can take the strain that goes with identifying and planning the training solutions that are right for your business. That still applies if you are a medium to large business but you may also need the county-wide coverage that C4BN offers: for example if you have multiple sites or outlets or if you need to imprive a diverse range of skills within your staffing. Again, you only need to make the one phone call to us!
What business sectors does it cover?
Across the membership all key sectors are covered. However, there are Centres of Vocational Excellence where colleges have proved themselves to be particularly advanced and have attracted additional governement funding. These are:
- Accounting and Finance
- Computing and Networking
- Health and Care
- Hospitality
- Land Management
- Manufacturing
- Retail
- Sport and Leisure
- Teacher Training
